Bottled Water
The International Bottled Water Association recently stated that Americans still favor bottled water over all other packaged drinks, with Americans consuming a whopping 13.8 billion gallons in 2018! Much of the growth can be attributed to folks seeking healthy hydration by switching from carbonated soft drinks and fruit drinks to bottled water. Sustainability is always top of mind these days, so it’s good to know that a 16.9oz bottled water uses about 59% less PET plastic than other beverages and is 100% recyclable (including the cap!). Good thing Aramark has you covered with a variety of water options to ensure we’re all happy & hydrated.
We’re Giving Ourselves
To Indulge in Indulgent Snacks
With the focus on healthy, one would think that indulgent snacks have no space within our lives anymore, but that’s not the case. Folks aren’t looking to cut indulgent out completely. Instead, the key to this new snack-quation is balance. Americans ate almost 386 billion ready-to-eat snacks last year, with many of them consumed between meals. Indulgent snacks were most consumed either as dinner or in the late evening – meaning that as the day progresses, our decisions shift and become driven by cravings, rewards, and temptation. But not to fret, snack companies are on top of this trend and are harmonizing indulgence and moderation. Take Reese’s, for example, who recently released Reese’s THiNS Dark Chocolate – they’re the same dark chocolate and peanut butter you love, but in a thinner cup. Don’t mind if I do!
